Welcome to the All Lands Annual Conference!
We are excited to announce the fourth Annual Conference of the Northern Blues Restoration Partnership held at Churchill School in Baker City, OR. This event aims to increase our appreciation of monitoring efforts and adaptive management while improving our understanding of the current state of the science.
At this year's conference, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss our roles in adaptive management and how to incorporate traditional knowledge into our projects. There will be opportunities to learn about a wide range of topics and put our knowledge to the test with an adaptive management scenario. The goals of the conference are:
Combine Western science, traditional and local knowledge, and diverse data sources and knowledge systems to guide adaptive management.
Involve all partners in monitoring and using data to improve management practices.
Highlight lessons learned and success stories from ongoing research and past projects to inform future efforts.
Help the broader Northern Blues Restoration Partnership recognize the importance of adaptive management and understand their role within it.
We will also be hosting several breakout sessions that will hone in on a variety of monitoring topics and provide insight into the challenges and creative solutions partners have implemented across the Northern Blues. We will finish the conference by putting our new knowledge to the test with an adaptive management scenario and a Q&A with the Leadership Team on their vision for the partnership.
